This image is based on Shakespeare, «As You Like it». The scene before the epilogue. Almost an illustration.
The center of the picture is Celia and Rosalind, the main characters of the opus.
The left edge is the Touchstone jester. And, of course, Jacques, too, as the opposite of Touchstone. But, at the same time, a kindred spirit. A la «unity and struggle of opposites».
On the left are all the men from the narrative, all at once, as a symbol of everything masculine. It is also our answer to Henri Matisse's «Round Dance».
The background is a deep moonlit night and a starry sky.

Сие изображение - по Шекспиру, «Как вам это понравится». Сцена перед эпилогом. Почти иллюстрация.
Центр картины - Селия и Розалинда, главные героини опуса.
Левый край - шут Оселок. И, естественно, Жак, в том числе - как антипод Оселка. Но, в тоже время и родственная душа. А-ля «единство и борьба противоположностей».
Слева - все мужчины из повествования, все и сразу, как символ всего мужского. Оно же - наш ответ «Хороводу» Анри Матисса.
Фон - глубокая лунная ночь и звёздное небо.
