The conceptual premise of the work is, I would argue, entirely transparent – the perennial dialectic of Good and Evil, of the virtuous and the depraved. A gesture in favour of Progress, Humanism, Art, and the apocryphal second book of Aristotle’s Poetics.
A bat bearing the insignia of the Uruguayan Air Force upon its wing, alongside my favoured Frog, appear here as recurring figures. In this context, the Frog becomes synonymous with Humanism and Compassion, offering solace and protection to Ron’s rat, Scabbers, alarmed by the proximity of Hermione’s cat, Crookshanks.

Нетопырь с эмблемой ВВС Уругвая на крыле и моя любимая Лягушка (здесь она просто тождественна с Гуманизмом и Состраданием, поскольку утешает и защищает Крысу Рона Коросту, испуганную близостью Кота Гермионы Живоглота) традиционно присутствуют.
